If either the parent or student has a specific topic they want to focus on, lessons will be tailored around that topic; otherwise they will follow the GCSE Course.

Mathematics Course:

The GCSE Statistics course consists of: Data Collection Mathematical Analysis, Data Visualisation, Data Comparision and Statistical Evaluation. The course is made to be in line with the new National Curriculum.

English Course:

The GCSE English course consists of: Reading, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary and Spoken English. The course is made to be in line with the new National Curriculum.

Biology Course:

The GCSE Biology course consists of: Cell biology, Transport systems, Health, disease and the development of medicines, Photosynthesis,Coordination and control, Ecosystems and Genetics . The course is made to be in line with the new National Curriculum.

Physics Course:

The GCSE Physics course consists of: Energy, Forces, Motion, Wave motion, Electricity, Magnetism, Electromagnetism, Atomic structure and Astrophysics. The course is made to be in line with the new National Curriculum.

Chemistry Course:

The GCSE Chemistry course consists of: Atomic structure, Properties of Matter, Chemical Changes, Energy Changes, Chemical Analysis, Earth and atmospheric science and Chemical and allied industries ,. The course is made to be in line with the new National Curriculum.

  • Classroom size: A maximum of 5 children are in a class at any time, to ensure that each child is given a focused, tailored learning experience.
  • Assessments: We have progress tests every two months, from which we provide feedback to parents and tailor the continued learning of the children.
  • Course Content: All content at Talent Pool Academy is aligned to the National Curriculum, to help your child achieve the best results they can. We have our own textbooks made by expert teachers, which are regularly updated to be in line with the National Curriculum.Our lessons are for 1 hour for each subject every week.
  • Awards: Every two months we hold progress test, from which we provide feedback to parents and tailor the child’s continued learning. Children who perform well in these tests are awarded with certificates and trophies are given to those who performed exceptionally. This motivates children to either continue to work hard, or in the case of those who didn’t win; motivate them to work harder.
  • Mock Tests: Every two months we hold mock tests, from which we provide feedback to parents and tailor the continued learning of the child to strengthen their weak points.
